In this beautiful Irish Spring solitude I am cheered by the chorus of little birds as they serenade me, singing their sweet song in praise and celebration of life and living.

As you know, I have recently been made aware of a rogue invader squatting in my bladder. Having survived the shock, slowly coming round to believing that it could actually happen to me, I am now engaged in a ‘winner takes all’ battle to unceremoniously evict the intruder and reclaim my good health again.
