Wexford author adds two new books to his collection.

Dark Secrets

Dark Secrets 003

Paddy Cummins has chosen a little farm on the slopes of Slieve Coilte as the setting for his new novel ‘Dark Secrets.’

The novel is based on a true story of the extraordinary events that occurred within a little Irish farm family over three generations.

It is a journey with charming farm folk through exquisite landscape, changing seasons, golden harvests and the hills and hollows of everyday life.

The South East of Ireland and County Wexford feature prominently throughout the story. New Ross, Wexford, Rosslare, Blackwater, Our Lady’s Island and Johnstown Castle are highlighted and described in detail.

Although the title might suggest that the saga would be too morbid for some readers there is nothing dreary or sombre about it at all.

It is a beautifully told story of family life on a little Irish farm and the twists and  turns of country life in Ireland.

Lyrical Ireland

Lyrical Ireland Front Cover

This is a new book of poems with an Irish theme and covering a wide range of people and places.

As author, Paddy says:

“This is a little collection of poems that have been wandering around in my head for a few years – it was time to set them free. They touch on a fairly wide range of locations, characters, and a variety of moods and emotions.

When read, they will show that I am addicted to beauty and simplicity and that I am a loyal and true romantic Irishman.

I chose the title ‘Lyrical Ireland’ for two reasons; to show my love for all things Irish, and my passion for simple lyrical rhyme.”
