September 21 marks the Autumnal Equinox 2018 the official start of fall, when night and day are of equal length and when the Celts would have celebrated the plentiful harvest.

The Autumnal Equinox, also known as Mabon, is the mid-harvest festival when the Celts would have take time to celebrate the changing season, show gratitude for a plentiful harvest and look ahead to the harsher months of winter. Fittingly the symbol for the day is the symbol of the sacred day is the cornucopia.

It’s a time of plenty, of gratitude, and of sharing our abundance with those less fortunate.
